Its better to clean Computer Mouse ball once in a month.These are the steps for cleaning a Computer Mouse ball of your computer system ( not for optical mouse )<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><ul><li>First you need to Shut down your computer</li><li>Then Disconnect the mouse from the PS2 or serial port.</li><li>Turn the mouse upside down.</li><li>Unlock the ball-cover ring by turning it in the direction shown by arrow icons in the plastic. If the mouse has no arrows, push and turn counterclockwise.</li><li>Remove the ring and ball.</li><li>Rinse the ball with light warm water.</li><li>Use a cotton swab covered with isopropyl alcohol to remove all dust.</li><li>Carefully scrape the three rollers with a paper clip to remove rubber.</li><li>Clean rollers with a swab dipped in alcohol.</li><li>Reassemble mouse when all the parts are dry ( make sure its not wet ) .</li><li>Reconnect the mouse to your computer.</li></ul><div>Please not : Never use these type of mouses in rough surfaces .. its Mouse ball will damage ...
